Town of Greenwich Fire Department Station 7

Station 7 is located in the center of the the Banksville business district of Bedford, NY, on Bedford Greenwich Road. It houses one volunteer company known as the Banksville Independent Fire Company. This station primarily serves the Banksville business and residential areas. Although it is located in another state, the Banksville area of Bedford, NY, it has been traditionally considered a part of the Greenwich Fire Department. Over the years, the Banksville Independent Fire Company has served as the primary "helper" company to the northeastern portion of the Greenwich backcountry residential areas. Although this portion of backcountry Greenwich is now primarily served by the recently completed Station 8, Station 7 is still a very valuable asset to the goal of achieving fire protection in the backcountry residential areas of Greenwich.
