This photo of Sagittarius and Scorpio was shot from the Texas star party in 1989. The 'teapot' of Sagittarius is to the lower left. Scorpio is to the right. Saturn is the bright 'star' just up and to the left of Sagittarius (under the 'S'.)  Antares is the brightest star in the constellation of scorpio (under the 'A'.)

This photo was taken with a 28mm lens on 3200asa film. The exposure was 4min piggybacked .

Basically its a shot of the center of our galaxy. Even if you don't know where the constellations are in this photo, it's still easy to find interesting dark nebula,  red nebula, star clusters, etc.
